7. The Driver Could Be Undersized

This is closely related to overload.

Suppose your LED installation requires approximately:

120W

but your driver is rated for:

96W

The driver simply isn't designed to supply the required load.

Before blaming the dimmer, calculate the complete LED load. A 120W system needs something in the 150W or 200W class, not a 96W unit pushed past its rating.
